Fellowship Tracks
01 — Language Fellows (Annotator Track)
Power multilingual AI through data annotation, transcription and language validation across African languages. This work directly improves our translation and speech systems.
Includes structured onboarding and a practical language assessment.
02 — Software Engineering (Cloud & AI)
Build scalable systems, APIs and AI models, spanning backend engineering, cloud infrastructure and the machine learning pipelines behind our products.
03 — Design
Create intuitive, accessible experiences through UI/UX design, product flows and visual systems that work for diverse audiences.
04 — Social Media
Grow All Lab's online presence through content, storytelling and engagement that bring our work and impact to life.
05 — Sales
Support outreach to partners and clients: identify opportunities, build relationships and shape strategies that drive adoption.
06 — Marketing
Drive campaigns, positioning and growth, from market research and messaging to initiatives that build awareness and engagement.
07 — Quality Assurance
Keep every release reliable by testing features, catching bugs and upholding high standards across our products.

Ambassador Program
Become a voice for African languages in the digital age.
The African Languages Lab Ambassador Program begins with a simple idea: people who are passionate about African languages can become powerful voices for preservation and digital growth. Ambassadors join a community of individuals who believe every language carries history, culture and identity that deserve to thrive online.
Your Role
Each ambassador's journey starts in their own community, introducing others to the mission of the African Languages Lab. As an ambassador, you will:
- Lead outreach: Organize activities that bring people into the conversation about their languages
- Support data collection: Help gather the language resources that power African language technology
- Collaborate: Work alongside linguists, technologists and cultural leaders
- Build awareness: Champion language digitization and technology that speaks to African realities
