Mansa Is Now Live on Blackbird
Mansa is now a native app on Blackbird.io, bringing African language translation into the business tools enterprises already use.

Mansa is now live as a native app on Blackbird.io, the platform that connects language technology to the business tools companies already rely on. Teams can now run African language translation inside their existing content and business workflows, automatically.
What Blackbird does
Blackbird integrates with nearly 200 business applications, including Adobe Experience Manager, AWS S3, Notion, Slack, HubSpot, Zendesk, Contentful, Storyblok and Sitecore. Instead of copying content between systems by hand, teams build workflows that move content from where it lives, through translation, and back again.
What we built together
Deep XLIFF support, the standard file format across the localisation industry, for reliable, repeatable workflows.
Better context handling and memory, so translations stay accurate and consistent across longer documents and enterprise content.
A native app experience, so teams can add Mansa to a Blackbird workflow in minutes.
Languages at launch
At launch, Mansa on Blackbird supports 20 languages: Afrikaans, Amharic, Arabic, Hausa, Igbo, Somali, Xhosa, Zulu, Yoruba, Kinyarwanda, Shona, Tswana, Chichewa, Luganda, Malagasy, Oromo, Sesotho, Sepedi, Swahili and Tsonga.
Who it is for
Enterprises, educational institutions, government bodies, content creators and communities that need African language translation at scale, with minimal technical effort. A support team can translate help centre articles in Zendesk, a marketing team can localise campaigns from HubSpot, and a publisher can push content from its CMS into several African languages in one workflow.
Why it matters
For many organisations, the hardest part of adding African languages is fitting them into the systems they already run. With a native Blackbird app, African language support becomes one more step in an automated workflow rather than a separate project.
